Use the tests without creating an account or downloading anything. Your microphone and camera tests run in your browser.
No account or download
We do not ask for your name, email address, or an account to run a test. There is no software to install.
Your media stays in your browser
Microphone audio and camera video are processed in your browser. A short microphone recording is held temporarily in the open page so you can play it back. It is removed when you leave the page. We do not upload or save recordings, video, device names, or detailed test readings.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics runs only if you select “Allow analytics.” It measures page visits and actions such as opening a tool, starting a test, a device becoming available, a test failing, or playing a recording. Events include only the tool type, a broad error category, or the headphone channel. We do not send audio, video, recordings, device names, or detailed test readings to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies to distinguish visits and receives basic browser and connection information. We disable Google signals and advertising personalization for this site. Your choice is saved in this browser and can be changed using Analytics settings in the footer.
Site delivery
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, processes basic connection information, such as your IP address, to deliver the page and operate its service. We do not use this information to identify you or build a profile.
